Hey Guys~
I've got a tutorial for you to follow. It's pretty detailed, so careful not to skip any steps. It's from an earlier version of Illustrator, but most of it still applies. Gimme' a shout if you get stuck. Start with an 8"T x 10"W artboard in Illustrator. Then go to this link and follow the steps: Holiday Reindeer Hey Guys~
We're going to continue along in a similar direction of the "Wolf" projects. This time you're going to find an image of your choice. Make sure it's an image of a real object, not a cartoon or a drawn, animated object. Place that image into an Illustrator artboard, and start to build a mosaic replica. REMEMBER: a mosaic is creating pieces of the object that overlap and connect to make the final piece. Let's work on this for a couple of days... You may have noticed thus far that your Illustrator work is saved with an .ai extension. This mean that they are Illustrator working files. These types of files usually cannot be used practically - on the Web and such. If we want to use them elsewhere, we need to change into a different format. Typically, we save them as .jpg or .gif files. So today, let's do that.
